The artist's comments reveal a tangled genealogy for a thoroughbred image: I designed the girl in illustrator, did the skin-tone in photoshop, then printed the image and started inking the linework. Then i did a little gouache blocking of the foreground and background. Then back to photoshop where i combined collaged textures, and tonal values… the Gilded Abattoir by ~Oni-Geist.

Description
My own take on a carousel.
this piece went through so many stages of development it's hard to keep track. I designed the girl in illustrator, did the skin-tone in photoshop, then printed the image and tarted inking the linework. Then i did a little gouache blocking of the foreground and background. Then back to photoshop where i combined collaged textures, and tonal values.
let me know what you think!
